Frequently Asked Questions
How many images can I convert at once?
There is no fixed limit. You can convert dozens of images into a single PDF. However, very large images or many files may take a few seconds to process depending on your device speed. Each image becomes one page in the PDF.
What is the difference between "Fit" and "Fill" modes?
Fit scales the image to fill the page without cropping — the full image is always visible, with white space on two sides if the ratios differ. Fill scales the image to completely cover the page — some cropping may occur. For document submission, "Fit" is recommended.
Will my PDF be searchable?
No. This tool creates image-based PDFs where each page is a JPEG image. The text in the images is not machine-readable. For most government submission purposes this is perfectly acceptable. If you need searchable (OCR) PDFs, you would need a dedicated OCR tool.
Can I convert PNG files with transparent backgrounds?
Yes. PNG files are supported. However, since PDFs use JPEG internally (for compression), transparent areas will be rendered as white in the output PDF. If transparency is important, download as PNG instead of converting to PDF.
