Our Story
Sarkari DNA Tools was born out of a simple, frustrating experience that millions of Indians face every day: trying to upload a passport photo for a PAN card application — only to have it rejected because the file size is 52 KB instead of 50 KB, or because the dimensions are off by a few pixels.
The problem is not that citizens are careless. The problem is that the technical requirements for government documents — exact pixel dimensions, DPI settings, file size limits — are scattered across portals in small print, and the tools available to fix them are either paid, require registration, or upload your sensitive documents to unknown servers.
We set out to build something different: free, fast, private, and genuinely useful tools that help everyday Indians navigate the documentation requirements of government portals — without compromising their privacy.
Our Mission
Our mission is to democratise access to document utility tools — making the kind of precision document processing that previously required a professional or paid software available to every citizen, for free, in their browser.
We believe that applying for a PAN card, updating your Aadhaar, or filing your ITR should not require a computer science degree. Our tools handle the technical complexity so you can focus on what matters.
Privacy First, Always
From day one, we made an unconditional decision: your files never leave your device. Every single tool on Sarkari DNA Tools runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. There is no backend server receiving your photos, documents, or Aadhaar cards. There never will be.
This isn't just a policy — it's a technical reality. When you crop your photo, the image data lives only in your browser's memory. When you close the tab, it's gone.
